3 Day Bwindi Gorilla Safari itinerary:
Day 1: Pick up from your accommodation then travel to Bwindi impenetrable National park
You will be picked up early morning from your accommodation either in Entebbe or Kampala by your driver guide who will then take you on your 3 day Bwindi gorilla safari to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest where will be tracking the mountain gorillas.
Along the way, you will have a stopover at the Equator for a break with an optional experimental movement of water (clockwise and anticlockwise) between the South and the Northern hemispheres. You will then continue on your drive to Mbarara the home of the long-horned cattle for another stop this time for a lunch break. After lunch continue on your drive, arriving in Bwindi in the evening. Check into your accommodation.
Day 2: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking / Gorilla Tracking Day
Today on your Gorilla Safari you will wake up early for the highlight of your safari – Gorilla tracking. You will have your breakfast and then you will be driven to the park headquarters for a briefing from the gorilla tracking park guides on your gorilla tracking before being guided into the impenetrable forest by the park rangers.
Once you encounter the mountain gorillas, you will be accorded 1 hour to view the gorillas supervised by the park rangers. You will then return to your accommodation after your gorilla tracking experience with the mountain gorillas. Overnight Lodge
Day 3: Departure
You will have an early breakfast in the morning, checkout of the lodge leaving Bwindi forest and then start your return journey to either Entebbe or Kampala. On the way you will again stop at Mbarara for a hot lunch. Depending on your plans today we can either drop you off at the airport for your international flight out of Entebbe or your accommodation.

What to take on your 3 Day Bwindi Gorilla Safari:
Water: Gorilla trekking can be strenous and unpredictable you therefore need to carry with you at least 2 litres of water.
Boots: You will need good waterproof comfortable shoes. Some times it rains during the trek, so skid proof shoes can come in handy.
Rain Jacket: You are advised to carry a light rain jacket because it rains very often in Bwindi Impenetrable forest
Snack: You can carry a light snack to give you some energy during the hike in the forest
Socks: You will have to tuck in the trousers into the socks to avoid insects crawling inside.
Gloves: You will need Gardening gloves because you will be holding onto tree branches, leaves, name it, and some can be thorny.
Camera: Carry a good camera (no flash ) to capture this lifetime experience
