Itinerary Uganda Gorillas Chimps Wildlife:

Day 1: Kampala to Kibale National Park.
After your breakfast you will be picked from the hotel by your driver guide and then driven to Kibale Forest park to start your Uganda Gorillas Chimps wildlife safari.  You will arrive in Fortportal in time for lunch. Have a brief tour of Fortportal town before transferring to Kibale Forest. Overnight accommodation of choice

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Swamp Walk.
After breakfast transfer to Kanyanchu for a briefing from the park guides on your chimpanzee tracking adventure. You will be accompanied by the park guides on the chimpanzee trek during the chimpanzee trek also expect to see other primates like the Red, Black and white colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys plus a sight of some birds like the African pitas, Red-faced woodland warbler, Blue-headed Sunbird and many more.

In the afternoon, set out for a guided nature walk in the Bigodi wetland sanctuary to see various bird species, butterflies and primates. Overnight lodge of choice.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
On this day of your Uganda Gorillas chimps wildlife safari you will start your day with breakfast in the morning then depart by road for Queen Elizabeth National park, reaching your accommodation in time for lunch. After lunch relax then in the evening go for a game drive around the park for a variety of wildlife species. Overnight stay at Lodge of choice

Day 4: Game drive and Boat cruise
Early morning game drive in the Kasenyi area of Queen Elizabeth Park, return to the lodge for breakfast, and lunch. After lunch head for a boat ride along the Kazinga channel expecting to see crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, Topis, birds like Corncrake, African skimmer, Marital eagle among others. Overnight Lodge of choice.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
After breakfast, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park passing through the renown Ishasha Sector, known for hosting the tree-climbing Lions that hang up in the fig trees. Lunch at Ishasha wilderness Camp; visit the Ishasha River for bushbucks, hippos, crocodile and the green vegetation. Overnight Lodge of choice

Day 6: Gorilla tracking Bwindi
In the morning, after you have had your breakfast you will be driven to the park headquarters where you and other gorilla trekking people will assemble for briefing on gorilla trekking from the park rangers about the dos and don’ts while participating in the gorilla trekking. Embark on the memorable gorilla trekking experience hiking in the forest in search of the mountain gorillas.

Gorilla trekking may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the mountain gorillas. Once you locate the mountain gorillas you are allowed a maximum of one hour,
Return to your lodge. In the evening if you are not tired, you may go for community walk in the nearby village.

Day 7: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.
In the morning after you have had breakfast you will transfer to Lake Mburo National Park arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon go for a boat ride on the lake to see; Hippopotamus, Nile crocodiles and water birds such as; African fish eagles, King fishers, African finfoot, Long crested eagle among others.

After the boat ride you will have an evening game drive to see game such as Giraffes, Bufallos, Elands, Topi, Impala, Bush bucks, Oribi, Warthogs, Varvet monkeys and Baboons. Return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 8: Morning Safari walk/ return to Kampala/Entebbe
Wake up early to participate in a walking safari with an armed ranger in the park bringing you up close with wildlife, such as Zebras, Impala, Topi and much more.
Return to your lodge for breakfast, after which you will drive back to Kampala or Entebbe/ place of your interest. If you want you can have another stop at the equator for curio shopping.
