Uganda Safari 8 Days itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport and clearing with immigration you will be met by our company representative who will then transfer you to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Drive from Kampala to Murchison falls
Have your breakfast early morning from your accommodation before you make an early start on your journey to Murchison falls national park with a stopover in Masindi town for lunch. Proceed to Murchison falls and visit top of the falls – one of the star attractions in the area before proceeding to your lodge where you will unwind for the rest of the evening.

Day 3: Game drive and launch cruise
Today you will wake up very early in the morning to go for a game drive in the northern bank of River Nile where you may spot various animal species like elephants, giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs among others. In the afternoon after lunch you will go for a launch cruise on the park’s main tourist attraction the unique Murchison Falls as well as the River Nile with its streaming hippo and serried ranges of crocodile along the sandbanks, as well as large numbers of different species getting down to drink & bathe.

Day 4: Drive from Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park
On the 4th day of your Uganda Safari 8 Days at the lodge you will embark on your drive to Kibale forest national park – home to the Chimpanzees. This approximately a 8 hour drive with a lunch stopover en-route and arriving at the lodge in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest
Enjoy breakfast afterwards you will go for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale’s 795km2 National Park contains one of the most beautiful and with the most varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda. This is place to a number of forest wildlife, most especially 13 species of primate coupled with chimpanzees. After trekking and viewing the chimpanzees you will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will visit the Bigodi wetland.

Day 6: Drive to Bwindi for gorillas
After your breakfast you will have an early start driving to Bwindi Forest national park driving through the famous Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park where you may spot some game including tree climbing lions. Proceed to Bwindi having your enroute arrival in Bwindi Forest will be in the evening.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking day in Bwindi Forest
Early morning breakfast then report to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park ranger guides after which you head into the forest for gorilla trekking in Bwindi in the company of the park rangers. Gorilla trekking can take anything between 4-8 hours depending on the movements of the mountain gorillas. Upon discovering the gentle mountain gorillas, you will be allowed 1 hour to view and take photos of the mountain gorillas which often seem not to mind about the vistors’ presence as they go about their daily lives.

You will then trek back to the point where you started your gorilla trek from where you will meet your driver guide and transfer back to the lodge.

Day 8: Drive to Entebbe Airport
Breakfast then drive Entebbe driving across some incredible landscapes, local markets and towns. Enjoy lunch en-route in Mbarara town with a stop at the equator proceed to Entebbe airport to catch your flight back home.
